Day 12. 29th December.

Well, what a day this was. It began with Mike waking up a little later than normal & feeling like he really did not want to ride today. He was tired & sore & fed up with being on his own. The thought of riding 95km's to Port Augusta was almost too much to bear. However, he did manage to drag himself out of bed. Then he looked at himself in the mirror & gave himself a good talking to. Still he did not feel like riding, so then he went and prayed about it & asked God for strength & help to keep going. Next thing he knew, he was back on that bike & the mother of all tail winds whipped up & pushed him all the way & he rode 95km's in just under 3 hours!!!! How exciting is that. He was greeted at the Big 4 Caravan Park in Port Augusta by Hugh & Pauline Robinson. They were very nice & their park is beautiful, so thank you Hugh & Pauline for putting Mike up for the night.
