An interesting Christmas eve. It took Mike 9 hours to ride 75km's. His trailer broke down, and as you can imagine, it's pretty hard to ride towing a trailer thats dragging on the ground. He managed to limp it in to an engineering works in Aldgate where a very kind & talented guy named Brett was there working away. Brett was extremely helpful & worked some magic on the broken down trailer & got it back on the road a short while later. We can not thank you enough Brett for what you did & on top of that, you gave a donation! What a blessing you turned out to be. Thank you also to the kind people who pulled their car over to stop Mike so they could give him a donation. We are so moved by the kindness & genorosity that people have shown towards this cause. Finally, a very tired & emotional Mike arrives at Auntie Peg's house to be greeted by cousin Lyn & auntie Peg. It's reassuring to know that I have such good family looking after my tired & weary husband whilst I can not be there. I know he is strong & capable of doing anything, but even the strongest need a little looking after at times.
Greetings everyone, from Julie McKenzie.
